Broughton Street Lofts

Located on the fringe of the Savannah Historic District, this mixed-use project is being developed to accommodate a mix of multifamily rental units, condos, and short-term vacation rentals. The units and ground floor retail spaces are proposed to wrap a ground floor/underground parking structure that will support the residential unit requirements and limited commercial space. Given the location of the project, the exterior design was able to depart from the strict conformance to materials and details typically used in the Historic District. The façade will incorporate exposed, steel detailing and contemporary metal panels to help break up the mass of this large-scale building and give it a more industrial character.
