Georgia Historical Society, Jepson House Education Center

The Georgia Historical Society purchased this historic residence to relocate their executive offices from the ground floor of the adjacent Hodgson Hall and to accommodate much needed reception, conference, and event facilities along with more adequate office space for the organization’s extensive personnel. The gracious residence and courtyard were enhanced by a 300sf, third-floor addition and covered porch with ADA access, which better serves the functionality and presence of the organization’s headquarters. The renovation retained the grandeur and character of the original historic home while accommodating workspace for up to 22 staff members.
