Liberty Street Hotel

The proposed Liberty Street Hotel, a large-scale infill project, extends the entire length of Liberty Street to match the development patterns along the street and will set back on portions of Tattnall and Jefferson Streets to create relief in the building façade and to allow for an entrance court on Tattnall Street. The strategy for the project started with shifting the proposed structure to the north along Liberty Street to allow for a 30-foot buffer from the adjacent historic, three-story building to the south. This setback area allows for an enclosed ground-floor, garden-level terrace amenity and service yard. The height of the building steps up from the buffered area to capture a bonus story in the four-story district and then up another story in the five-story district along Liberty Street.
