Shrink Savannah

This adaptive reuse project transformed a modest mid-century commercial building into a modern medical office. The one-story brick structure originally had an inverted corner and minimal exterior openings and was obscured by overgrown vegetation. The renovation gave the building a new identity and street presence, and introduced a corner entry addition, large window openings, and a minimal color palette, while still maintaining the original materials and roofline of the façade. Vaulted ceilings and updated finishes on the interior, along with a screened exterior courtyard for patients, gave the building additional light and connection to the exterior while maintaining privacy.
