The Grove

This new restaurant and bar comprised a total transformation of a nondescript, two-story, 1970s-era commercial building. The original structure was taken down to the literal shell, with only the exterior walls remaining. The proportions of the building were lengthened by bringing the raised first floor down to the ground level and elongating the existing window openings, along with the addition of French balconies along Jefferson Street and a penthouse bar and roof terrace. The multi-floor restaurant allows for multiple events in the various spaces which include multiple bars, the open restaurant, private dining rooms, private event space and the roof. A neutral color scheme and clean, minimalist interiors revitalized the structure to create a modern atmosphere for this local destination.
